Disney Ballet

It doesn't get much cuter than little girls in tutu's.

Olivia's ballet class has come to an end for the year and I am actually sad that I don't get to spend my Thursday nights watching her bounce around the YMCA to Frozen songs (even if that is how she spends every other night at home).  There is just something about those tutu's that gets me every time.

Olivia was able to show off her dancing skills to Gramma, Papa and even Daddy at her recital.

She was extra happy that Gramma and Papa were there.  She told me they were going to be amazed and they sure were.

Eat your hearts out ladies!  This little brother even goes to his sister's dance recitals.

The Climber

Yup, this happened, and I opted to take pictures instead of get him down.  Mother of the year award!

This is what happens when sister mentions candy, Finn magically disappears.

All of this work for a Tootsie Roll.

Caught in the act.

He didn't care one bit that he was in trouble.

Such concentration

Don't ask, I still haven't found his other shoe.

Breakfast!

Well, breakfast for dinner to be exact.

One of Scott's least favorite things to eat for dinner is breakfast food.  It's one of my favorite things to eat for dinner.  Let's be honest though, nothing can beat out macaroni and fish sticks (together).  Yum, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.  Maybe that's what we will have for dinner tomorrow night.

Since Scott is in Germany this week I decided to make pancakes, a pound of bacon and some sausage for dinner tonight.

I just though the blogging community should know.

That is all!

Peter Pan

Some of my fondest memories from my childhood are of when we used to all pile in mom and dad's bed to watch Walt Disney movies that were on TV.  To this day, the intro music of when the Magic Kingdom appears brings me back to those days.

When Peter Pan was going to be on NBC last night I thought that I should try to make a special tradition for my little monsters.

We put on our PJ's, made some popcorn, opened some pop (which was promptly spilled).  After the mess was cleaned up we put our blankets and pillows on the floor and got comfy for the movie.

We lasted for about 20 minutes on the floor and another 40 watching the movie while running around like crazies.  Then the fighting started and the kids went to bed.  Good thing we DVR'd the movie!

Buckle Up

Finny took Papa for a tractor ride this weekend.  Look out!

He must be deep in though here, which pillar should I take out next?

Festival of Trees

I don't know why I keep going back to the Festival of Trees every year.  It is expensive and less than thrilling.  However, this year we did meet Santa Claus.  So I guess I can cross that off my very full list of things to do this December.

Thanksgiving Round One

We celebrated our first round of Thanksgiving this year with the VanVooren's.  We had a great time with a lovely spread of food!  Good work Gramma!

The place cards that the kids made with Gramma, Papa, and Mrs. Trent.  This is my Aunt Keek card, its upside down, not the kids fault.

Olivia - 3 years old, almost 4.

Finley - 2 years old

Emmie - 4 years old, almost 5

After dinner the kids put on a play for the crowd. Gramma taught them all about the Three Billy Goats.

The smallest Billy Goat telling the troll to wait for the next Billy Goat. She is much bigger he says.

The medium sized Billy Goat telling the troll to wait for the biggest Goat.

Finn is either over the pictures or the tryptophan is starting to set in.

It can't get much cuter than these two girls!

The girls and a less than amused Finn.
