Papa Time

Olivia and Emmie were able to spend some time with Papa on Saturday night.

Papa took them to the Moline basketball game, which they both love.

There was lots of laughter and lots of junk food!  The girls were in Heaven.

Showing off their silly faces.

They weren't fans of the buzzer, or buzzard as Emmie called it.

When you spend time with Aunt Keek you get candy...and lots of it.

Finley's First Haircut

Say goodbye to the mullet.

At 17 months old Finley received his first haircut.  He looks like a little man now, where did my baby go?

Finn did great, hardly moved the whole time he sat in the chair.

Two inches were cut off the party in the back!  My little boy got more cut off than I do.

Sitting on Daddy's lap.

Getting my cape.  I'm all set now

Livy watched all the action in the mirror.  She must have liked what was going on, she asked if Lamby could get her hair cut after.

All ready with my cape on

Getting the sides trimmed

The after, isn't he handsome?

They Do Love Each Other

They can get along....or maybe they were both way too tired.

A few minutes before nap time the other day Finn was snuggling under my big, fluffy, purple blanket.  He was minding his own business when Olivia came along.

"Finn,  can I snuggle with you?"

I do love these sweet moments.

The snuggling didn't last long, a few minutes later Finn stole the blanket from Olivia.  She was sobbing and screaming at him.

Enter early nap time.

A Day in the Life of Olivia

Tonight we spent the night playing dress up.  This is normal around here.

Olivia runs off somewhere, takes off her pants only to run back into the room to scream "Look Mom, I don't have any pants on".  Then she promptly goes over to the shoe closet, picks out her favorite pair and clops around in them for the next hour.  The only sad part is that she can walk better in these shoes than Mom can.

No post would be complete without a photobomb from Finny.

We also play hide and seek every night.  Neither one of the kids is very good at this game.  They both hide in the same exact spot every single time.  When it's Finn's turn to find Olivia, he runs over to the chair, climbs over it and as soon as he spots her he screams "BAAAAAAA".

This picture is capturing the "BAAAAA" moment.  Can you hear him?

Little Bakers

Dad is busy with work this week and will be gone for most dinners.

Good things I have such good helpers to assist in making dinner.

Bubble Wrap Anyone?

It's official.  We are moving.

Who wouldn't be excited to move with these two cutie pies helping.

And if by helping I mean unwrapping everything that we have already packed, popping our bubble wrap or stealing our tape, then these two are pro helpers!

We aren't moving far, just across the river to Bettendorf.  We are very excited but the change has become a little bittersweet for me.

So much has happened in our first home.

Two became One.

Then along came a baby.

Then baby number two.

Lets hope that our new home creates just as many special memories for us.

Our current home is on the market now, we've had a few bites but nothing solid yet.  Keep your fingers crossed for us (and maybe your toes too).  But for now, stress is at an all time high around here!
